Lessons include E. coli in undercooked hamburger, toxins and pesticides in our food supply, and the historic and future role of the government, the manufacturer and the consumer in ensuring a safe food supply. Other lessons in the SLIC curriculum focus on nutrition, disordered eating, alternative eating and physical activity.|
