Description:Food Safety Works is designed for current or potential food workers and can be conducted in one to three hours. It covers all the basics: personal hygiene, preventing cross contamination, preparing/serving food safely (including proper temperatures) and cleaning/sanitizing.
Leader materials are available for purchase on CD- ROM or hard-copy, along with a 10-minute food safety video Preventing Foodborne Illness in English and Spanish. Materials include a PowerPointŪ presentation (optional), instructor outline, master activity forms, master participant handbook (available in English, Spanish or Chinese), two evaluation options, and a sample participant certificate of completion.
