The units can be purchased together or separately. The microbial contamination unit contains two laboratory activities along with several reinforcement activities make up this unit's content which probes the subjects of food poisoning, bacteria treatment and prevention, and characteristics of bacteria and bacterial growth. The units were designed to be easily incorporated into the present science curriculum at each grade level. Supplemental videocassettes instruct the teacher on how to prepare and conduct the science experiments.
